Ons. 450, 451. 1925. 1129 CHAP. 450.——An Act A h ` · portions of the military resehiabidbllbé tlig 1§iig§cl$}bfoSahVF-ralgciggdltby therbitu .7;-——-Mlgihgéilzsl and county of San Francisco for educational, art, exposition, and park purpose; [P°b“°’N°‘ *8*] Be it enacted by the Senate and House o Re resenta ' United States of America in Congress assgmblgd, Thatntli; i>$$tilii°°$i°m§rg1°·iii§ tary of W'ar be, and he is hereby, authorized to convey to the city §§°"’““°“ °°'"°Y°° and county of San rancisco, subject to the conditions hereinafter i specified, for educational, art, exposition, and park urposes, that portion of the military reservation of the Presidio of [San Francisco V°1·‘°· nw- 111 the city and county of San Francisco, State of California, on . which the Palace of Fine Arts is located, included within metes and bounds as follows: Commencing at adpoint on the westerly line of Lyon Street, dis- D°“°"""°"· tant thereon five an seventeen one-hundredths feet southerly from the northerly line of Bay] Street, if extended and produced westerly, and running thence nort erly along the westerly line of Lyon Street one thousand one hundred and ninety-six and eighty one-hundredths feet; thence southwesterly on a curve to the left of six hundred and twelve feet radius, central angle one hundred and fift -five degrees forty-seven minutes and fifty seconds, tangent to a line deflected one hundred and two degrees six minutes and five seconds to the left from the precedin course a distance of one thousand six hundred and sixty-four and thirteen one—hundredt.hs feet to the westerly line of Lyon Street and the point of commencement, containin Prom nine and ninety-three one-hundredths acres, more or less: Prooidei rmsbntyvmm however, in the event of war or any other great national emergency, §,‘Q"°* “‘ °'°“* °"'“· the United States shall have the right, which it hereby reserves, to take exclusive possession of said land and all improvements thereon, without the payment of any compensation therefor, and to hold, occupy, and use the same during the continuance of such war or emer enc . .
