corporation, situated in the county of Kane and State of Illinois, to construct, maintain, and operate two bridges and the approaches thereto, one of said bridges being across the east branch o the Fox River, reaching from Stol s Island to the mainland and connecting the west end of Benton Street with Stolps Island, and the other bridge across the west branch of Fox River, reachin from Stolps Island to the mainland and connecting the east enc? of Holbrook Cmtmc,m_ Street with Stolps Island, both situated in the said city, county, Vol.34,p.84· and State, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled _ "An Act to regulate the construction of bridgles over navigable §[g’;’,‘;;u,,_ waters," approved March 23, 1906: Provided, owever, That the actual construction of said bridges shall be commenced within three yearsfand completed within five years from the date of passage hereo .
