A PROCLAMATION ,€,·g;,;$,§,§§=¤**¤* Mt WHEREAS, Warren G. Harding, President of the United States, Vol- 42, ii- 2237- did on the 26th dag of March, 1921, by proclamation appoint James C. Davis Director eneral of Railroads, and did on the 26th day of March, 1921, in like manner appoint said James C. Davis Agent of uY,§’l;,,§§{· P- *5** V°‘· the President, acting under the provisions of the Federal Control Act and the Transportation Act, 1920; and, WHEREAS, the affairs of the United States Railroad Administration are still in process of liquidation under said Acts, re uiring daily and continuous activities of the Director General of Raiilroads and A ent of the President; C_If,°§$,§°*§{,*§c§°f’g‘gQ{ NOW, THEREFORE, I, Calvin Coolidge, President of the United isi gfoftgigggggidggg States, under and by virtue of the power and authority vested in me gm by said Acts, and of all other powers me hereto enabling, do hereby re-appoint said James C. Davis Director General of Railroads and Agent of the President, effective An ust 3d, 1923, with all the powers, duties and responsibilities conferred and imposed by said Acts and each of thefproclamations originally a pointing him as aforesaid, and hereby raf y and confirm his acts and deeds in the current administration of said affairs in the interval between August 3d, 1923 and the date of this roclamation. Now, therefore, I, CALVIN COOLIDGE, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the power in me vested by the Act of Congress approved June fourth, eighteen hundred and ninety- seven (30 Stat., 11 at 34 and 36), do proclaim that the boundaries of the Coconino National Forest are hereby changed and that_ they are now as shown on the diagram hereto annexed and forming a art hereof; and that this proclamation and those chan§ng_ the P°"’p‘"m‘ boundaries of the Tonto National Forest and the Prescott ational Forest, which I have also signed this day, are made and are intended to be land shall be considered as one act to become effective simultaneous y.
