Chalmette Nati onal Cemetery, Louisiana : For moving and con- st ruction of build ings, pr eparing new addi tion for interme nts, rei n- terments, and necessary changes and improvements incident to pro- vidin g a right of way through the Chalmette National Cemet ery, Chalmette, Louisiana, for the construction of a new levee by the State of Louisiana, $32,000 . Restoration of the Lee Mansion, Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia : For making an investigation and survey to determine the condition of the buildings and the repairs necessary, and for com- mencing the restoration of the Lee Mansion, as authorized in Public Resolution Numbered 74, approved March 4, 1925, $10,000 . For repairs to roadways to nat io nal cemeteries whi ch ha ve be en c onstru cted by sp ecial autho rity of Con gress , $15 ,000 : Pr ovided , That no railroad shall be permitted upon the right of way which may have been acquired by the United States to a national cemetery, or to encroach upon any roads or walks constructed thereon and maintained by the United States : Provided further, That no part of this sum shall be used for repairing any roadw ay not owne d by the United States within the corporate limits of any city, town, or village . For continuing the work of furnishing headstones of durable stone or other durable material for unmarked graves of Union and Con- federate soldiers, sailors, and marines, and soldiers, sailors, and mar ines of all othe r wars i n nation al, post , city, town, an d villag e cemeteries, naval cemeteries at navy yards and stations of the United States, and other burial places, under the Acts of March 3, 1873, February 3, 1879, and March 9, 1906 ; continuing the work of fur- nis hing hea dstones for unma rked gra ves of c ivilians interre d in pos t cemeteries under the Acts of April 28, 1904, and June 30, 1906 ; and furnishing headstones for the unmarked graves of Confederate sol- diers, sailors, and marines in national cemeteries, $140,000 . For repai r and prese rvati on of monum ents, table ts, o bserv ation tower, roads, and fences, and so forth, made and constructed by the United States upon public lands within the limits of the Antietam ba ttle f ield, near Sharp sburg , Mar yland, and for pay of super in- tendent, said superintendent to perform his duties under the direc- tion of the Quartermaster Corps and to be selected and a ppoin ted by the Secretary of War, at his discretion, the person selected for this positio n to hav e been ei ther a c ommissio ned offi cer or e nlisted man who has be en honorably mustered out or discharged from the mili tary ser vice of the Unite d States and who may hav e been d isabled for active field service in line of duty, $6,500 .
