Cii. 325 . 1928. 411 "For each additional trial or final hearing, upon a reversal by Additional trials, etc. the Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia, or following a disagreement by a jury or the granting of a new trial or rehearing by the court, there shall be charged and collected by the clerk from the p arty o r part ies se curing such reversa l, new trial , or r eheari ng Provisos . the further sum of $5 : Provided, however, That the clerk shall not Criminal eases. be required to account for any such fee not collected by him in Collectio ns by order crimi nal ca ses : Provi ded f urthe r, That no thing herein contained of co urt . shall prohibit the court from directing by rule or standing order the collection, at the time the services are rendered, of the fees herein enumer ated from either p arty, but all such fees sha ll be tax ed as cos ts in the respecti ve cases .

At tac hm ent writs, In any c ase where attachme nts, exec utions, scire fac ias proce edings, etc . or rules are issued the following fees shall be charged and collected by the clerk in addition to the fees hereinbefore provided : For each writ of attachment, $1, and each copy, $1 ; for each writ of execution, $1 .50 ; for each writ of scire facias, $1, and each copy, $1 ; for each rule, 50 cents, and each copy certified, 50 cents ; for each writ of ne exeat, $1 ; for each bench warrant, $1 ; for each warrant of arrest, $1 .

Miscellaneous serv . "That in addition to the fees for services rendered in cases ic es . hereinbefore enumerated the clerk shall charge and collect, for miscellaneous services performed by him and his assistants, except when on behalf of the United States, the following fees : For issuing any writ or subpoena for a witness not in a case insti tuted or pen ding i n the court from wh ich it is is sued, 50 cen ts for each writ and copy or subpoena and copy . "For filing and indexing any paper not in a case or proceeding, 25 cents. "For administering an oath or affirmation, not in a case or proceeding pending in the court where the oath is administered, 50 cents . " For an acknowledgment, certificate, affidavit, or countersignature, with seal, 50 cents . "For ta king a nd cer tifyin g depo sition s to fi le, 20 cents for e ach folio of one hundred words, and if taken stenographically, 15 cents per folio additional for the stenographer . "For co py of any re cord, entry, or ot her pap er and the c ompari son thereof, 15 cents for each folio of one hundred words . "For searching the records of the court for judgments, decrees, or other instruments, or marriage records, 50 cents for each year covere d by the search an d for cer tifying t he result , 50 cent s . " For receiving, keeping, and disbursing money in pursuance of any statute or order of court, including cash bail or bond or securities autho rized by law or or der of court to be deposi ted in lieu of oth er security, 1 per centum of the amount so received, kept, and disbursed, or of the face value of such bonds or securities . "For makin g and com parin g a t rans cript of r ecord on appea l, 15 cents for each folio of one hundred words . "For comparing any transcript, copy of record, or other paper not made by the clerk with the original thereof, 5 cents for each folio of one hundred words . "For admin ister ing oath of ad miss ion o f att orney s to prac tice, $2 each ; for certificate of admission to be furnished upon request, $2 additional . " For each marriage license, $2 . "For each certified copy of marriage license and return, $1 . "For each certified copy of application for marriage license, $1 .
