OFFICE OF EXPERIMENT STATIONS-PAYMENTS TO STATES To carry into effect the provisions of an Act approved March 2, 1887 , enti tled " An Act to es tablis h agric ultura l expe riment stati ons in co nnection with the colleges establis hed in th e several States u nder the provisions of an Act approved July 2, 1862, and of the Acts supplementary thereto," the sums apportioned to the several States, to be paid quarterly in advance, $720,000 . To carry into effect the provisions of an Act approved March 16, 1906, entitled "An Act to provide for an increased annual appropria- tion for agricultural experiment stations and regulating the expendi- ture thereof," the sums apportioned to the several States, to be paid quarterly in advance, $720,000 . To carry into effect the provisions of an Act entitled "An Act to auth oriz e the more com plete endo wment of agric ultur al e xperi ment stat ions," appro ved Fe bruary 24, 1 925, $2 ,400,0 00 . In all, payments to States for agricultural experiment stations,
