[Public, No .746.j Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That for the pur- pose of modernizing the United States ships New Mexico, Missis- sippi, and Idaho alterations and repairs to such vessels are hereby authorized at a total cost not to exceed the sum of $30,000,000, in all .
