[Public, No. 383.] Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That in order to R Choctawhatchee fa cilitate i nterstate commerce, i mprove the postal se rvice, and pro- Florida may bridge, vide for military and other purposes, the State of Florida, through east of Freeport, Fla. and by its highway department, be, and is hereby, authorized to construct, maintain, and operate a free highway bridge and ap- proaches thereto across the Choctawhatchee River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, east of Freeport, Florida, connecting the counties of Washington and Walton, Florida, in accordance with construction . the provisions of an Act entitled "An Act to regulate the construc- Vol. 34, p. 84 . tion of bridges over navigable waters," approved March 23, 1906 . SEC . 2 . There is hereby conferred upon the State of Florida, through its highway department, all such rights and powers to enter Rig ht to acq uir e, con up on land and t o acqui re, con demn, o ccupy, possess , and u se real erty emu, etc., prop es tate an d othe r porpe rty nee ded for the lo cation, constr uction, operation, and maintenance of such bridge and its approaches as are possessed by railroad corporations for railroad purposes or by bridge corporations for bridge purposes in the State in which such real estate or other property is situated, upon making just compensation therefor, to be ascertained and paid according to the laws of such State, and the proceedings therefor shall be the same as in the c ondemn ation o r expro priatio n of pr operty for pub lic pur poses i n such State . CHAP . 525 .-An Act To provide for the reconstruction of the Army and Navy [H . R. 6124 .1 Hospital at Hot Springs, Arkansas .

[Public, No. 384 .] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United St ates o f A merica in C ongress as sembled, That the Secretary Reconstruction o t of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to raze such Army and Navy Hos- part of the existing hospital buildings in the reservation of the petal, at . Army and Navy General Hospital, at Hot Springs, Arkansas, as m ay be desirab le and proper to make room f or the constru ction o f another hospital, and thereafter to construct upon said ground such additional unit of said Army and Navy General Hospital, at Hot Springs, Arkansas, and for said purpose there is hereby authorized Sum a uthorized . to be appropriated the sum of $450,000, or as much thereof as may be necessary, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated . Hospital Reservation, at Hot Springs, Arkansas, authorized by this or any other Act, shall be so expended under supervision of the Secretary of War, and the said hospital shall remain under the Proviso. jurisdiction and control of the War Dehartment : Provided, That Approval of plan by National Park Service. the exterior design of said hospital shall be approved by the National Park Service .
