CHAP . 545 .-An Act Providing for the sale of the remainder of the coal and [s . 4140.] asphalt de posits in the segreg ated mineral land in the Choctaw and Chic kasaw [Public, No. 398.] Nations, O klahoma, and for oth er purposes . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Cho ctaw and Chic k- United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secre- asaw lan ds, O lcla . Remainde r of coal tary of the Interior is hereby authorized to sell the remainder of the tobe asphalt t deposits in, coal and asphalt deposits in the segregated mineral land in the Choc- taw and Chickasaw Nations, Oklahoma, and belonging to said Indian nations, the sales to be made under such rules, regulations, terms, and conditions as the Secretary of the Interior may prescribe not inconsistent with this Act . L. 433), or under the Act of February 22, 1921 (41 Stat . L. 1107), be canceled by the Secretary of the Interior and all rights of the purchaser at such sale be declared forfeited as to said tracts, such trac ts may again b e offered and sold by the Secretary of t he Interior as provided herein until all such tracts finally shall have passed into private ownership . That where any tract of said coal and asphalt deposits posed tracts , has been heretofore or may be offered hereafter for sale at two or more public auctions after due advertisement and no sale thereof was made, the Secretary of the Interior may, in his discretion and under suc h rules and re gulations and on such term s and conditio ns as he may prescribe, sell such tract at either public auction or by Reappraisements, if private sale at not less than the appraised value : Provided, however, facts justify . That the Secretary of the Interior may, in cases where the tracts remain unsold and the facts are found to justify, cause -reappraise- ments to be made of such tracts and reoffer and sell such tracts either at public auction or private sale at not less than the reap- praised value . issue upn pym to of full SEC. 4 .
