United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay to Howard Perry, of Ellijay, Georgia, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $609.26. The United States, socting through its duly constituted officers,. R.S.S8C .3450, p.682. sold to said Howard Perry on February 11, 1925, under Revised u.s.c., p.844. Statutes, section 3450, one Nash roadster automobile, serially num- bered 265696, motor numbered 148585, for $505, which was paid by s9,id Perrv, and thereafter Hartford Fire Insurance Company insti- tuted a trover suit against said Perry in the superior court of Gil- mer County, Georgia, for the recovery of said automobile and which suit was removed to the United States District Court for the North- ern District of Georgia and tried in said court at Atlanta, Georgia, on June 21, 1926, resulting in a verdict and judgment for the plain- tiff in the sum of $505 principal, $44.18 interest, and $60.08 costs, which sums, aggregating $609.26, were paid by said Howard Perry and thus occasioned him a loss of said aggregate amount, lune 28, 1030 .
