1593 belonging to the Regular Army as he may consider desirable : Provide That uniforms and other equipment or material issued to the Reserve Officers' Training Corps in accordance with law shall be furnished from surplus or reserve stocks of the War Department without payment from this appropriation, except for actual expense incurred in the manufacture or issue : Provided further, That in no Current price to gov- case shall the amount paid from this appropriation for uniforms, equipment, or material furnished to the Reserve Officers' Training Corps from stocks under the control of the War Department be in excess of the price current at the time the issue is made : Provided Additional units for further, That none of the funds appropriated in this Act shall be bidd en . used for the organization or maintenance of an additional number of mounted, motor transport, or tank units in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps in excess of the number in existence on January 1, 1928 : Provided further, That none of the funds appropriated in this Act sh all be avail able for an y expe nse on accou nt of any s tudent in Air Corp s, Medi cal Cor ps, Den tal Cor ps, or Vete rin ary unit s not a member of such units on May 5, 1932, but such stoppage of further enrollments shall not interfere with the maintenance of exist- in g uni ts : Prov ide d f urt her , That none of the funds appropriated elsewhere in this Act, except for printing and binding and pay and allowances of officers and enlisted men of the Regular Army, shall be used for expenses in connection with the Reserve Officers' Training Corps . MILITARY SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES For the procurement and issue as provided in section 55c of the Act approved June 4, 1920 (U . S . C ., title 10, sec . 1180), and in section 1225, Revised Statutes, as amended, under such regulations as may be prescribed by the Secretary of War, to schools and col- leges, other than those provided for in section 40 of the Act above referred to, of such arms, tentage, and equipment, and of ammuni- tion, targets, and target materials, including the transporting of same, and the overhauling and repair of articles issued, as the Secre- tary of War shall deem necessary for proper military training in said schools and colleges, $8,900.
