NATIONA L GALLERY OF ARTS For the administration of the National Gallery of Art by the Smithsonian Institution including compensation of necessary employees, purchase of books of reference and periodicals, traveling expense s, uni forms for gu ards, and ne cessary incid ental expens es, $38,220. PRINTING AND BINDING For all printing and binding for the Smithsonian Institution, in- eluding all of its bureaus, offices, institutions, and services located in Washington, District of Columbia, and elsewhere, $62,422, of which not to exceed $12,400 shall be available for printing the report of the American Historical Association : Provided, That the expendi- ture of this sum shall not be restricted to a pro rata amount in any period of the fisc al year . For administration, maintenance, and exhibition in New York- City of the Gellatly art collection, including rental, services, travel, and all other necessary incidental expenses, $17,500 . SUPREME COURT BUILDING COMMISSION Supreme Court Building : For continuing the construction of the building for the United States Supreme Court in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to provide for the con- struction of a building for the Supreme Court of the United States," approved December 20, 1929 (46 Stat., pp. 50-51), $1,000,000, to remain available until expended . TARIFF COMMISSION Salariesandexpetses . For salaries and expenses of the United States Tariff Commission, includi ng pur chase and ex change of la bor-sav ing de vices, the p ur- chase of professional and scientific books, law books, books of refer- ence, gloves and other protective equipment for photostat and other machine operators, rent in the District of Columbia and elsewhere, subscriptions to newspapers and periodicals, and contract steno- graphic reporting services without regard to section 3709 of the Revised Statutes (U . S . C ., title 41, sec . 5), as authorized by sections 330 to 341 of the Tariff Act of 1930, approved June 17, 1930 (U. S . C., Supp .
