RADIO DIV IS ION Wireless communication laws : To enable the Secretary of Com- mrce 1 to enforce the Acts of Congress " to require apparatus and operators for radio communication on certain ocean steamers" and " to re gulate radio commu nicati on " and carry out the provisions of the international radiotelegraphic convention, examine and settle internati onal radi o account s, includ ing perso nal servi ces in th e Dis- trict of Columbia, and to employ such persons and means as may be necessary, traveling and subsistence expenses, purchase and exchange of instruments, technical books, tabulating, duplicating, and other office machinery and devices, rent, improvement and care of grounds and repairs to buildings not to exceed $1,5 00, and all other miscellaneous items, including rubber gloves, aprons, rubber boots, and necessary expenses not included in the foregoing, $490,000, of which amount not to exceed $65,315 may be expended for personal services in the District of Columbia .
