[CH APT ER 22 .1 AN ACT Granting the consent of Congress to the State of Michigan and Berrien County, or either of them, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge across the Saint Joseph River. Be it enacted by the Senate and Home of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the State of Michigan and Berrien County, or either of them, to construct a free highway bridge and approaches thereto across the Saint Joseph River, at or near Saint Joseph, Michigan, at a point suitable to the' interests of navigation, and to maintain and operate the same in accordance with the pro- visions of an Act entitled "An Act to regulate the construction of bridg es ove r navi gable waters ," app roved M arch 2 3, 190 6, and sub- ject to the conditions and limitations contained in this Act .
