Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secre- tary of the Navy is authorized, in his discretion, to deliver to the cu st ody of the Campus Martius Memorial Museum, of the ci ty of Marietta, Ohio, for preservation and exhibition, until such time as he shall determine the Navy Department has need of the same, the silver service which was presented to the United States for the gun- boat Marietta by the citizens of Marietta, Ohio : Provided, That no expense shall be incurred by the United States for the delivery of such silver service . [CHAPTER 53 .1 AN ACT To amend section 24 of the Act approved February 28, 1925, entitled "An Act to provide for the creation, organization, administration, and maintenance of, a Naval Reserve and a Marine Corps Reserve," as amended by the Act of March 2, 1929 . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Unite d Sta tes of Amer ica i n Con gress assem bled, That section 24 of the A ct ap proved Febr uary 28, 1925 (43 Stat. 1087 ; U. S. C ., title 34, sec . 785), entitled "An Act to provide for the creation, organization, administration, and maintenance of a Naval Reserve and a Marine Corps Reserve," as amended by thel .ct of March 2, 1929 (45 Stat . 1477 ; U. S. C., Supp. IV, title 34, sec. 785 ), be, and the same is h ere by, furt her amen ded by d elet ing from the sec ond prov iso of the Act of March 2, 1929, the words " transferred thereto prior to J uly 1, 1 925," so t hat said proviso will rea d as fol lows "Provided further, That any pay which may be due any membe r of the Fleet Naval Reserve shall be forfeited when so ordered by the Secretary of the Navy, upon the failure, under such conditions as may be prescribed by the Secretary of the Navy, of such member to report for inspection .
