Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the Sec- retary of War is authorized to submit fo r the consideration of Congress such estimates as are, in his judgment, necessary for the proper maintenance of the flood-control works at Lo well Cre ek, Seward, Alaska, construction under authority contained in Public Resolution 'Numbered 52, Sixty-ninth Congress, approved February 9, 1927. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Des Moines River . Strosnider, their heirs, legal representatives, and assigns, all such rights and powers to enter upon lands and to acquire, condemn, occupy, possess, and use r eal e state and ot her pr operty need ed for the l ocatio n, co nstruc tion, o peration, and maintenance of such bridge and its approaches as are possessed by railroad corporations for railroad purposes or bg bridge corporations for bridge purposes in the State in which 'such re al es tate o r othe r prop erty i s sit uated, upon making just compe nsa- tion therefor, to be ascertained and paid according to the laws of Condemnation pro- such State, and the proceedings therefor shall be the same as in the condemnation or expropriation of property for public purposes in such State . SEC . 3. The said Roy H . Campbell, Charles H . Brown, G . H. Wilsey, and Doctor H. O . Strosnider, their heirs, legal representa- ti ves, and as signs, are h ereby autho rized to fix and c harge tolls for transit over such bridge, and the rates of toll so fixed shall be the legal rates until changed by the Secretary of War under the author- ity contained in the Act of March 23, 1906 .
