ARTICLE 60. Lors de l'ouverture d'une pro- cMure judiciaire dirig~ contre un prisonnier de guerre, la Puis- sance d~tentrice en avertira aussi- Mt qu'elle pourra Ie faire, et toujours avant la date fix~ pour I'ouverture des d~bats, Ie repr~ sentant de la Puissance protec- trice. JUDICIAL SUITS. ARTICLE 60. This advice shall contain the following information: !l) Civil state and ,rank of pnsoner; b) Place of sojourn or im- prisonment; c) Specification of th~ [count] or counts of the indictment, giving the legal provisions ap- plicable. If it is not possible to mention in that advice the court which will pass upon the matter, the date of ope~ the trial and the place where It will take place, this in- formation must be furnished to the representative of the pro- tecting Power later, as soon as possible, and at all events, at least three weeks before the opening of the trial.
