PROCLAMATIONS, 1981. President of the United States, with the consent of the Tribal Council of the Navajo Tribe of Indians, to establish the said Canyon De 2449 Chelly National Monument bY' Executive proclamation; A WHEREAS the Navajo Tribal. Council ASsembly at Fort Wingate, In~~.NlvaJo N. The Director of the National Park Service, under the direction of supervision. the Secretary of the Interior, shall have the supervision, manage- ment, and control of this monument as provided in the act of Congress Vol. 39. p. 536 . entitled "An act to establish a National Park Service, and for other purposes," approved August 25, 1916 (39 Stat. 535), and acts addi- tional thereto or amendatory thereof.
