Rockwell on account. of the death of her husband, Fred P. Rockwell, November 6, 1926, while employed by the Post Office Department as a railway mail c1erk, in the same manner and to the same extent as if said Mary A. Rockwell had made application for the benefits of the Act entitled "An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and for other purposes ", approved September 7, 1916, as amended, within the one-year period required by sections 17 and 20 thereof: Provided, That no benefits shall accrue prior to the approval of this Act.
