Res . 460, adopted April 29, 1936, including the employment of personal services, the traveling and incidental expenses of such committee or any subcommittee or member or employee thereof, and the pay and travel of witnesses ; all such expenses to be paid on vouchers authorized by the committee, signed by the chairman thereof, and approved by the Committee on Accounts : Provided further, That no person shall be employed under such appropriation at a rate of compensation in excess of $3,600 per annum : Provided fu rthe r, That the committee is autho rize d to pro cure inf orma tion and ass ista nce from any Fed eral executive agenc y, including th e services of p ersonnel there in, and any such agency is hereby authorized to render such assistance, furnish such information, and detail such personnel as the com- mittee may request : Provided further, That the official committee stenographers of the House of Representatives may be used at all hearings held in the District of Columbia if not otherwise officially engaged.
