Be it enacted by the Sena te and House of Repre sentatives of th e United States of America in Congress assembled, That notw iths tand- ing th e provisions of secti on 364 6, as ame nded, of the Rev ised Statutes of the United States, the Chief Disbursing Officer of the Tr easu ry De part ment is a utho rized and dir ected to issue, wi thou t the requirement of an indemnity bond, duplicates of original checks numbered 66942 and 67000, drawn February 19 and February 20, 1935, in favor of "State Treasurer of Indiana, trust fund", for $2,743 . 34 an d $5,241 .3 5, re spectiv ely, a nd los t betwe en the office of the St ate Treasurer of Indi ana and the designate d depository . [H.R.4330.] To facilitate the control of s oil erosion and/or flood dama ge originating upon lands within the exterior boundaries of the Uinta and Wasatch National Forests, Utah . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of Agriculture, with the approval of the National Forest Reservation Commission established by section 4 of the Act of March 1, 1911 (U. S. C., title 16, sec. 513), is h ereby authorized to acquire by purchase any lands within the boundaries of the Uinta and Wasatch National Forests, in the State of Utah, which, in his judgment, should become the property of the United States in order that they may be so managed with other lands of the United States as to min- imize soil erosion and flood damage, and to pay for said lands from the entire receipts from the sale of natural resources or occupancy of public land within the Uinta and Wasatch National Forests, wh ich recei pts are hereb y au thori zed to b e app ropr iated for tha t purpose until said lands have been acquired . Approved, August 26, 1935 . [CHAPTER 692 .] AN ACT AN ACT Providing punishment for forging or counterfeiting any postmarking stamp . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That whoever shall forge or counterfeit any po stmarking stamp, or i mpression thereof with intent to make it appear that such impression is a genuine postmark, or shall make or knowingly use or sell, or have in posses- sion with intent to use or sell, any forged or counterfeited post- marking stamp, die, plate, or engraving, or such impression thereof, shall be fined not more than $1,000 or imprisoned not more than five years, or both .
