AN ACT [H. R. 5468] To extend the times for commencing and completing the construction of a bridge [Public, No . 131] across the Mississippi River at or near a point between Morgan and Wash Streets in the city of Saint Louis, Missouri, and a point opposite thereto in the city of East Saint Louis, Illinois . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the times for commencing and completing the construction of a bridge across the Mississippi River at or near a point between Morgan and Wash Streets in the city of Saint Louis, Missouri and a point opposite thereto in the city of East Saint Louis, Illinois, authorized to be built by the city of East Saint Louis, Illinois by an Act of Congress appr oved May 3, 19 34, heretofore extended by Acts of Congress approved August 5, 1935 and May 1, 1 936, are hereby further extended one and three years, respectively, from May 3, 1937 . SEC . 2 . The ri ht to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby ex pressly re served . Approved, June 2, 1937 . Mississippi River . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the time for completing the construction of two bridges, one across that part of Lake Michigan lying opposite the entrance to the Chicago River in Illinois and the other across the Michigan Canal known as Ogden Slip in the city of C hicago, Il linois, au thorized t o be built by the Chicago Park D istrict (succe ssor by operat ion of law to both th e South P ark Com mission ers and the Co mmissio ners of Lincol n Park), by an Act of Congress approved January 14, 1929, heretofore extended b y Act of Co ngres s app roved Febru ary 14, 1933, is hereby fur ther extended one year from January 14, 1937 .
