Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That nothing con- tained in title VI, part II, of the Legislative Appropriation Act for the fiscal year 1933 (47 Stat ., 417), as amended by section 8 of the First Deficiency Appropriation Act, fiscal year 1936 (49 Stat ., 1648), shall be construed as modifying or amending the provision in the Naval Appropriation Act for the fiscal year 1923 (42 Stat ., 812), which reads as follows : "That all orders or contracts for work or mat erial , und er aut horiz ation of la w her etofor e or herea fter p laced with Government-owned establishments, shall be considered as obli- gations in the same manner as provided for similar orders or con- tra cts p laced with priva te co ntract ors, and ap propr iatio ns for such 245 AN ACT June 2, 1937 To extend the times for commencing and completing the construction of certain [H . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the times for commencing and completing the construction of certain bridges, to wit (a) Across the Monongah ela River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, from Pittsburgh to Homestead, Pennsyl- vania, near to, and to replace, existing Brown's Bridge ; (b) Across the Allegheny River, at a point suitable to the i nterests of navigat ion, from Pittsburg h to O'Har a Townshi p, Pennsylvania, near dam numbered 2, to replace the existing High- land Park Bridge ; (c) Across the Monongah ela River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, between the Smithfield Street and Point Bridges ; (d) Across the Monongah ela River, at a point suitable to the in terests of navigation, from the Glenwood to the Hays sections o f the city of Pi ttsbu rgh, Pennsy lvani a, to repla ce ex isting Glen - wood Bridge ; (e) Across the Monongah ela River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, from Dravosburg to McKeesport, Penn- sylvania, to replace existing Dravosburg Bridge ; (f) Across the Youghiog heny River at a point suitable to the i nterests of navigation , in the ci ty of McKee sport, to re place exist - ing Fifth Avenue Bridge ; (g) Across the Monongah ela River, at a point suitable to the in terests of navigation, from the Borough of Rankin to the Bor- ough of Whitaker, Pennsylvania, to replace existing Rankin All egheny C ounty, P a ., bridge construe- tion .
