BUREAU OF RECLAMATION Bonneville project : For administering and carrying out the pro- visions of an Act entitled "An Act to authorize the completion, main- te nance, and o perati on of the Bo nnevil le proj ect, f or nav igatio n and for other purposes", approved August 20, 1937, including necessary personal services in the District of Columbia and elsewhere ; the purchase of easements and rights-of-way ; purchase, exchange, and operation of automobiles ; purchase of office furniture and equipment ; stationery and office supplies ; purchase of equipment and other sup- plies ; rent, traveling expenses, telegraph and telephone expenses, printing and binding and all other necessary expenses, fiscal year 1938, $100,000 . Cabinet Gorge project, Idaho : For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the Act of August 14, 1937 (Public, Numbered 279, Se venty- fifth Congre ss, fi rst se ssion) ,, enti tled " An Act to pr ovide for studies and plans for the development of a hydroelectric power project at Cabinet Gorge, on the Clark Fork of the Columbia River, for irrigation pumping or other use, and for other purposes", $25,000 . Commission to investigate reclamation projects : For expenses and all necessary disbursements, including salaries, to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of the Interior, of the Commission authorized by the Act entitled "An Act to create a commission and to extend furth er rel ief to water users on Uni ted St ates r eclama tion projects and on Indian irrigation projects", fiscal year 1938, $30,000 : Provided, That such sum shall not become available unless and until the aforesaid legislation is enacted into law . BUREAU OF MINES Acquirement of land, helium plant : For acquirement from Gilbert D . Landis of three hundred and thirty-one acres (more or less)' of land in Potter County, Texas, for disposal thereon of wastes from the helium plant at Amarillo, Texas, fiscal year 1938, $10,000 : Pro- vided, That no part of this appropriation shall be expended until all claims against the United States in the case of Gilbert D . Landis agai nst Un ited S tates of Ame rica i n the U nited States Distr ict Co urt for t he Nor thern Distri ct of Texas are ext inguis hed an d vali d titl e, free of encumbrances, to the three hundred and thirty-one acres (more or l ess) o f land invol ved in said case ve sts in the U nited States of America : Provided further, That payment hereunder, together with any payments from other appropriations made by the United States on account of said claims, shall not exceed the amount of the judgment heretofore awarded in said case . NATIONAL PARK SERVICE Yosemite National Park, California : For the acquisition of certain lands, including expenses incidental thereto, as set forth in the Act of Congress approved July 9, 1937 (Public, Numbered 195, Seventy- fifth Congress), there is hereby made available, not to exceed $2,005,000 of the unexpended balance of the appropriation contained in the Emergency Relief Appropriation Act of 1935, heretofore ear- marked thereunder for that purpose, notwithstanding the reappro- priating provisions with respect to such unexpended balance in sec- tion 1 of the Emergency Relief Appropriation Act of 1937 .
