Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secre- tary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Etta Natelsky, of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, the sum of $1,500 in full satisfaction of all claims of said Etta Natelsky against the United States for damages resulting from personal injuries sustained by her on July 22, 1934, when shot by an agent of the Department of Justice, Division of Investigation, in the endeavor of said Department of Justice, Division of Investigation, to apprehend John Dillinger: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, on account of services rendered in connection with said claim. It shall be unlawful for any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, to exact, collect, withhold, or receive any sum of the amount appro- priated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof on account of services rendered in connection with said claim, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of Amlerica in Congress a.sesm bled That notwith- standing the limitations of time in sections 15 to 20, both inclusive, of the Act entitled "An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and for other purposes", approved September 7, 1916, as amended, the Employees' Compensation Commission is hereby authorized and directed to receive and consider the claim of James C. Wilkinson, of McAlester, Oklahoma, for disability alleged to have been incurred in the performance of his duties as deputy United States marshal on March 20, 1931, under the remaining provisions of said Act: Provided, That claim hereunder shall be filed within six months from the approval of this Act: Provided further, That no benefits shall accrue prior to the approval of this Act.
