Your Excellency advises that the American Government agrees to the said exchange subject to the provisions established by the text of the convention included in Your Excellency's note, it being neces- sary in order that this convention may enter into force merely for the Brazilian Government, through me, to indicate that it likewise agrees to this exchange. 3. In reply, I inform Your Excellency, exercising the full powers conferred on me, that the Government of the United States of Brazil agrees to the exchange in question, subject to the provisions of the convention included by Your Excellency in the above-mentioned note. I take the occasion to renew to Your Excellency the assurances of my highest consideration.
