NOTE: No Federal internal tax in excess of the rate of 3 cents per pound now provided for in section 602% of the Revenue Act of 1934, as amended, shall be imposed in the United States in respect of palm-kernel oil. In the event that the United States shall cease to impose an internal tax with respect to palm-kernel oil, the provisions of this Schedule with respect to the tariff treat- ment of such oil shall cease to be in effect but no tariff rate in excess of 1 cent per pound shall be imposed on such oil.
