CUBA-RECIPROCAL TRADE--DEC. 18, 1939 Now, THEREFORE, be it known that I, Franklin D. Roosevelt, President of the United States of America, acting under the authority conferred by the said Tariff Act of 1930, as amended by the said Act of June 12, 1934, as extended by the said Joint Resolution of March 1, 1937, do hereby proclaim the said supplementary Agreement, includ- ing the said Protocol, to the end that the same and every part thereof may be observed and fulfilled with good faith by the United States of America and the citizens thereof on and after the day following the exchange of the proclamation of the President of the United States of America and the proclamation of the President of the Republic of Cuba, as provided for in Article VI of the said supplementary Agree- ment. IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the United States of America to be affixed.
