R. 3281] [Public Law 232] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the clause preceding the first proviso in section 6 of the Act of June 28, 1940 (Public, Numbered 671, Seventy-sixth Congress, third session), is hereby amended to read as follows: "Notwithstanding the provisions of section 2 of the Act of May 29, 1930 (46 Stat. 468), and section 204 of the Act of June 30, 1932 (47 Stat. 404), any person hereto- fore or hereafter retired under the Civil Service Retirement Act of May 29, 1930, as amended, may be reemployed in the service of the War and Navy Departments and the Federal Bureau of Investi- gation of the Department of Justice and be continued in such service not later than June 30, 1942:".
