56 STAT.] ARGENTINA-RECIPROCAL TRADE-OCT. 14, 1941 ARTICLE XVIII Pending the definitive coming into force of this Agreement as provided in Article XVII, the pro- visions thereof shall be applied provisionally on and after Novem- ber 15, 1941, subject to a right to terminate the provisional applica- tion of the Agreement pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 1 of Article XII or upon six month's written notice. ARTICLE XIX Subject to the provisions of paragraph 1 of Article XII, and of Article XVIII, this Agreement shall remain in force until Novem- ber 15, 1944, and, unless at least six months before November 15, 1944, the Government of either country shall have given notice in writing to the other Government of intention to termi- nate the Agreement on that date, it shall remain in force thereafter until the expiration of six months from the date on which such notice shall have been given. In witness whereof the respec- tive Plenipotentiaries have signed this Agreement and have affixed hereto their seals. Done in duplicate, in the English and Spanish languages, both au- thentic, at the City of Buenos Aires, this fourteenth day of October 1941. For the President of the United States of America: [SEAL] No] For the Vice President of the Argentine Nation in the exercise of the Executive Power: [SEAL] E.I ARTICULO XVIII Mientras este Convenio no en- tre definitivamente en vigor segun lo establece el Articulo XVII, las disposiciones del mismo se apli- caran provisoriamente a partir del 15 de noviembre de 1941, con sujeci6n al derecho de dar por terminada la aplicaci6n provisoria del Convenio de acuerdo con las disposiciones del paragrafo 1 del Articulo XII, o mediante un aviso previo de seis meses por escrito. ARTICULO XIX Sujeto a las disposiciones del paragrafo 1 del Articulo XII y del Articulo XVIII, este Convenio continuara en vigor hasta el 15 de noviembre de 1944, y, a no ser que por lo menos seis meses antes del 15 de noviembre de 1944 el Gobierno de cualquiera de los dos paises hubiere notificado por es- crito al otro su intenci6n de dar por terminado este Convenio en esa fecha, continuara en vigor hasta que hayan transcurrido seis meses a partir de la fecha en que se hubiere hecho tal notificaci6n. En fe de lo cual, los Plenipoten- ciarios respectivos han firmado cste Convenio y le han puesto sus sellos.
