INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS OTHER THAN TREATIES [57 STAT. (e) relating to the importa- tion or exportation of gold or silver; (f) relating to the control of the export, sale for export, or transit of arms, ammunition, or implements of war, and, in ex- ceptional circumstances, all other military supplies; (g) relating to neutrality; (h) relating to public secur- ity, or imposed for the protec- tion of the country's essential interests in time of war or other national emergency. ARTICLE XVIII 1. This Agreement shall enter into full force on the thirtieth day following proclamation thereof by the President of the United States of America and the President of the United Mexican States or, should the proclamations be issued on different days, on the thirtieth day following the later in time of such proclamatiohs, and, subject to the provisions of Article X and Article XI, shall remain in force for a period of three years there- after. 2. Unless six months before the expiration of the aforesaid period of three years the Government of the United States of America or the Government of the United Mexican States shall have given to the other Government notice of intention to terminate this Agree- ment upon the expiration of the aforesaid period, the Agreement shall remain in force thereafter, subject to the provisions of Article X and Article XI, until six months from the date on which notice of intention to terminate it shall have been given by either Government. e) relativas a la importaci6n o exportaci6n del oro o de la plata; f) relativas al control de la exportaci6n, venta para la ex- portaci6n, o transito de armas, municiones o implementos de guerra, y, en circunstancias ex- cepcionales, cualquier otro ma- terial militar; g) relativas a la neutralidad; h) relativas a la seguridad publica, o impuestas para la pro- tecci6n de los intereses esen- ciales del pais en tiempo de guerra u otra emergencia na- cional. ARTICULO XVIII 1. Este Convenio entrarh en pleno vigor a los treinta dias de su promulgaci6n por el Presidente de los Estados Unidos de America y el Presidente de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos o, en caso que las promulgaciones sean en fechas distintas, a los treinta dias de la fecha de la ultima de ellas, y, sujeto a las disposiciones del Arti- culo X y Articulo XI, permanecera en vigor por un periodo de tres aflos. 2. A no ser que seis meses antes de la terminaci6n del precitado plazo de tres afios el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos de Am6rica o el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos le haya notificado al otro Gobierno su intenci6n de terminar este Convenio al cum- plirse el antedicho plazo, el Con- venio seguira en vigor despues de tal periodo, sujeto a las dispo- siciones del Articulo X y Articulo XI, hasta seis meses despues de la fecha en que cualquiera de los Gobiernos haya notificado su in- tenci6n de terminarlo.
