All travel time shall count as leave and shall not be in addition to the time authorized in the preceding Article. ARTICLE 26. The Government of the Dominican Republic agrees to grant the leave specified in Article 24 upon receipt of written application, approved by the Chief of the Mission with due considera- tion for the convenience of the Government of the Dominican Republic. Replacements. ARTICLE 27. Members of the Mission that may be replaced shall terminate their services on the Mission only upon the arrival of their replacements, except when otherwise mutually agreed upon in advance by the respective Gov- ernments. Medical attention. ARTICLE 28. The Government of the Dominican Republic shall provide suitable medical attention to members of the Mission and their families. In case a member of the Mission becomes ill or suf- fers injury, he shall, at the dis- cretion of the Chief of the Mis- sion, be placed in such hospital as the Chief of the Mission deems suitable, after consultation with the Ministry of War and Marine of the Dominican Republic, and all expenses incurred as the result of such illness or injury while the patient is a member of the Mission and remains in the Dominican Re- public shall be paid by the Govern- ment of the Dominican Republic. El Gobierno de la Republica Dominicana conviene en conceder la licencia estipulada en el Articulo 24, al recibir una solicitud por escrito aprobada por el Jefe de la Misi6n, despu6s de prestar debida consideraci6n a la conveniencia del Gobierno de la Repiblica Dominicana. ARTfCULO 27. Los miembros de la Misi6n que fueren reempla- zados s61o podran cesar en sus funciones en la Misi6n a la llegada de los reemplazantes, excepto cuando por mutuo acuerdo los res- pectivos Gobiernos convengan de antemano en lo contrario. ARTfCULO 28. El Gobierno de la Republica Dominicana propor- cionara atenci6n m6dica adecuada a los miembros de la Misi6n y a sus familias. En caso de que un miembro de la Misi6n se enferme o sufra lesiones, se le hospitalizara, a discreci6n del Jefe de la Misi6n, en el establecimiento que el Jefe de la Misi6n considere adecuado, pre- via consulta con el Ministerio de Guerra y Marina de la Republica Dominicana; y todos los gastos en que se incurra a causa de dicha enfermedad o lesi6n mientras el paciente sea miembro de la Misi6n y permanezca en la Republica Dominicana, correran por cuenta del Gobierno de la Republica Do- minicana.
