Van De Venter, late deputy quartermastengeneral, for the use and occupation of the troops of the United States, which said house, used and occupied at the risk of the United States, was subsequently burnt down, on the fourth of March, one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, whilst used and occupied as aforesaid; which sum shall be in full of all demands, made on the part of the said Miller and Baker, against the United States. _ _ Ssc.2.
