Mw 2g: *83** Be it enacted, Qc., That the benefits of the provisions of the act, Act of May 15, entitled "An act for the relief of certain surviving officers and soldiers :82§·d°;‘· °" of the army of the revolution," passed May fifteenth, one thousand eight an B 0 1m` hundred and twenty-eight, which a lieutenant in the army of the revolution on the continental establishment is entitled to receive, be extended to David Brooks, of the city of New York, in the same manner as if the said David Brooks had fully complied with the provisions of the fourth section of the said act; and that the Secretary of the Treasury be authorized and directed to pay to him or his authorized attorney, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, such monthly pay as he is entitled to under the provisions of the said act, commencing on the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and thirty.
