McCalla, on file in the office of the Clerk of the House of Representatives, number fifteen, which was destroyed by order of an American officer, to prevent its use by the British and Indians as a cover, in the battle of the twenty-second of January, one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, at Frenchtown, on the river Raisin ; and, also, to ascertain the value of the personal property belonging to said Godfr0y, and destroyed in and about said barn, in consequence of the burning of the same; and the sum, so found to be due, shall be paid out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
