ARTICLE 9. Upon the coming into effect of this Agreement, that part of the "Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the Republic of China under Pos, p.3896. Section 3(c) of the Lend-Lease Act", dated June 28, 1946, providing for Naval assistance to China, shall be superseded by the applicable provisions of this Agreement. Effective date. ARTInLE 10. This Agreement shall come into effect on the date of its signature.
