Resolved^ by the Senate {the House of Representatives ooncurring)^ That the President of the United States be, and he is hereby, requested to return to the Senate the enrolled bill (S. 1786) for the relief of certain officers and employees of the Foreign Service of the United States who, while in the course of their respective duties, suffered losses of personal property by reason of war conditions and catastrophes of nature; that, if and when said bill is returned by the President, the action of the presiding officers of the two Houses in signing said bill shall be deemed to be rescinded; and that the Secretary of the Senate be, and he is hereby authorized and directed, in the reenrollment of said bill, to make the following correction in the engrossed bill: On page 2, line 9, strike out the name "Olive E. Knowlson", and in lieu thereof insert "Clive E. Knowlson". Agreed to September 24, 1951.
