Quota deduction.

AN ACT For the relief of Malka I^wojrH Kron and Tauba Kron.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re present ativeH of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the immi«^ration and naturalization laws, Malka Dwojra Kron and Tauba Kron shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fees and head taxes. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such aliens as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota officer to deduct two numbers from the number of displaced persons who shall be granted the status of permanent residence pursuant to section 4 of the Displaced Persons Act, as amended (62 Stat. 1011; 64 Stat. 219; 50 U.S.C. AN ACT For the relief of Mrs. Selina Cecelia Gahl.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Z^nited States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the immigration and naturalization laws, Mrs. Selina Cecelia Gahl shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fee and head tax. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available. CHAPTER 154 AN ACT For the relief of Adelaida Reyes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of section 4(a) and section 9 of the Immigration Act of 1924, Adelaida Reyes, a native and citizen of the Philippine Islands, shall be considered to be the alien, natural-born daughter of Isidro Q. Reyes, a veteran of World Wars I and II, and a citizen of the United States. Approved April 4, 1952.
