JOINT MEETING Resolved by the Tlovfie of Representatives {the l^enate concumng)^ That the two Houses of Congress assemble in the Hall of the House of Representatives on Monday, February 2, 1953, at 12:30 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of receiving such communications as the President of the United States shall be pleased to make to them. NETHERLANDS, UNITED KINGDOM, AND BELGILTM Whereas the people of the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Belgium have suffered tragic loss of lives, homes, and farms from the destruction wrought by storms and floods; and Whereas the ties of blood, kinship, and fellowship between these countries and our own are of ancient tradition, precious to the people of the United States: Therefore be it Resolved by the Senate {the Ilouse of Representotivea eoncuriinfj), Sympathy of That the Congress on behalf of the people of the United States expresses its deep sympathy, affection, and concern for the peoples of the Netherlands, the Unite<l Kingdom, and Belgium, whose countries have been ravaged by disaster, its admiration for their courage in adversity, and its hope for the early restoration of their homes and livelihoods. Agreed to February 12, 1953.

IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY ACT Resolred by the House of Representatives {the Senate concurring), That there be printed twenty-five thousand additional copies of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Public Law 414, P^ighty-second Congress, second session, of which twenty thousand copies shall be for the House document room, three thousand copies for the Senate document room, one thousand copies for the Senate Committee on Judiciary, and one thousand copies f(n- the House Committee on Judiciary.
