bodies of the Gold Coast and Nigeria on the occasion of the first meeting of their legislatures under the revised constitutions, in recognition of the democratic ideals shared by the United States and those territories, and in reaffirmation of the friendship of the United States for the peoples of Africa; and be it further Resolved^ That the Secretary of State is hereby requested to appoint a United States delegation at the appropriate time to represent the United States at ceremonies marking the achievement of complete self-government for these territories. ^^ ACT rpQ authorize conveyance of land to the State of California for a n inspection station.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized to sell at not less than the appraised value thereof to the State of California, and to convey by appropriate instrument, the following-described land: Beginning at a three-fourths inch iron pipe on the westerly right-ofway line of California State Highway Numbered 395, said point of beginning more particularly described as being north forty-six degrees forty-six minutes fifty-three seconds east, four thousand two hundred ten and twenty-eight one-hundredths feet from the corner common to sections 32 and 33, township 43 north, range 13 east, and sections 4 and 5, township 42 north, range 13 east, Mount Diablo base and meridian, and north fifty-five degrees forty-two minutes west, fifty feet from station 214 on the center line of California State Highway Numbered 395; thence, from said point of beginning north fifty-five degrees fortytwo minutes west, one hundred thirty and fifteen one-hundredths feet to a three-fourths inch iron pipe on the easterly right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad; thence, north forty degrees four minutes east, along said right-of-way line seven hundred three and fiftysix one-hundredths feet to a three-fourths inch iron pipe; thence, south fifty-five degrees forty-two minutes east, fifty-nine and forty-eight one-hundredths feet to a three-fourths inch iron pipe in the westerly right-of-way line of California State Highway Numbered 395; thence south thirty-four degrees eighteen minutes west, seven hundred feet to the point of beginning. SEC. 2. The proceeds of the sale of the land shall be deposited in the Treasury of the United States to the credit of the P i t t River Indians under the Act of May 17, 1926 (44 Stat. 560).
