Conditions.

AN ACT To authorize the Secretary of the Army to sell certain lands at the McNary Lock and Dam project, Oregon and Washington, to the port of Walla Walla, Washington.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Army is authorized to convey to the port of Walla Walla, Washington, subject to the provisions in section 2 of this Act, all of the right, title and interest of the United States in and to three parcels of real property comprising a part of the McNary Lock and Dam project on the Columbia River, Oregon and Washington, containing in the aggregate approximately four hundred forty-one and sixty-two one hundredths acres of land which is currently being utilized by the port of Walla Walla, Washington, under lease from the Secretary of the Army. SEC. 2. The conveyance herein authorized shall be made at the fair market value of the property as determined by the Secretary of the Army, and upon such terms, conditions, reservations, and restrictions as he shall deem necessary in the public interest and to assure that the use of the land will not interfere with the operation of the McNary Lock and Dam project. Second Infantry Division Memorial, D. C.

JOINT RESOLUTION Authorizing the erection on public grounds in the city of Washington, District of Columbia, of a memorial to the dead of the Second Infantry Division, United States Forces, World War II and the Korean conflict.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior is authorized and directed to grant the Memorial Committee of the Second Infantry Division, United States Army, permission to erect on public grounds of the United States in the city of Washington, District of Columbia, adjacent to the monument to the dead of the Second Infantry Division, American Expeditionary Forces in World W a r I, a monument to the dead of the Second Infantry Division, United States Forces in World W a r II and the Korean conflict; the site chosen and the design of the monument and pedestal shall be approved by the Joint Committee of Congress on the Library with the advice and recommendations of the National Commission of Fine Arts, and the United States shall be put to no expense in or by the erection of this memorial.
