Private Law 85-53 AN ACT For the relief of Nicolaos Papathanasiou.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Nicolaos Papathanasiou shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fee. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota-control officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available. Private Law 85-54 AN ACT For the relief of Loutfle Kalil Noma (also known as Loutfle Slemon Noma or Loutfle Noama).

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress a'^sembled, That, for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act, I»utfie Kalil Noma (also known as Ix)utfie Slemon Noma or Ix)utfie Noama) shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Act, upon payment of the required visa fee. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota-control officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available: Provided, That a suitable and proper bond or undertaking, approved by the Attorney General, be deposited as prescribed by section 213 of the said Act. Private Law 85-55 AN ACT For the relief of Herbert C. Heller.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Civil Service Commission is authorized and directed to pay, out of the civil service retirement and disability fund, to Herbert C. Heller, of Wilton, Connecticut, an amount equal to interest at 3 per centum per annum compounded annually, on the refund of retirement deductions which was due him upon his separation from Government service, from the date of such separation to the date of payment of such refund, such payment having been delayed for a period of approximately eleven years because of an error in the computation of the length of his allowable service. Approved July 17, 1957.
