INVESTIGATION OF UNITED STATES C I T I Z E N S FOR EMPLOYMENT BY INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
For expenses necessary to carry out the provisions of Executive 22 USC 287note. Order No. 10422 of January 9, 1953, as amended, prescribing procedures for making available to the Secretary General of the United Nations, and the executive heads of other international organizations, certain information concerning United States citizens employed, or being considered for employment by such organizations, including services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 60 Stat. 810. XJ.S.C. 55a), $400,000: Provided, That this appropriation shall be available for advances or reimbursements to the applicable appropriations or funds of the Civil Service Commission and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for expenses incurred by such agencies under said Executive order: Provided further, That members of the International Organizations Employees Loyaltj^ Board may be paid actual transportation expenses, and per diem in lieu of subsistence authorized by 5^ul*c*835^note. the Travel Expense Act of 1949, as amended, while traveling on oflBlcial business away from their homes or regular places of business, including periods while en route to and from and at the place where their services are to be performed: Provided further, That nothing in sections 281 or 283 of title 18, United States Code, or in section 190 62 Stat. 697. ^f ^he Revlsed Statutes (5 U.S.C. 99) shall be deemed to apply to any person because of appointment for part-time or intermittent service as a member of the International Organizations Employees Loyalty Board in the Civil Service Commission as established by Executive Order 10422, dated January 9, 1953, as amended. Not to exceed $249,000 of the funds in the "Employees' Life Insurance F u n d " shall be available for reimbursement to the Civil Service Commission for administrative expenses incurred by the Commission during the current fiscal year in the administration of the Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance Act of 1954, as amended (5 U.S.C. 2091-2103): Provided, That this limitation shall include expjenses incurred under section 10 of the Act, notwithstanding the provisions ^^ section 1 of Public Law 85-377 (5 U.S.C. 2094(c)). For necessary expenses of the Federal Aviation Agency, not otherwise provided for, including administrative expenses for research and development and for establishment of air navigation facilities, and 60 Stat. 170. carrying out the provisions of the Federal Airport Act; not to exceed note.
