relating to required periods of residence and physical presence within the United States, Uwe-Thorsten Scobel may be naturalized at any time after the date of enactment of this Act if he is otherwise eligible for naturalization under the provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act. AN ACT For the relief of Bertha Glickmann.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the B e r t h a Gllcfc United States of America in Congress assembled, That, for the purmann. poses of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Bertha Glickmann shall 66 Stat. 163. 8 USC 1101 note, be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of the date of the enactment of this Quota deduction. Act, upon payment of the required visa fee. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota-control officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available.
