Private Law 86-207 AN ACT For the relief of Loretta F. Ossorio.

Be it enacted by the Senate and HoUHe of Reprefientativefi of the United Statsn of America in (kmgreHS asHembled^ That Tjoretta F. os^soriof ** Ossorio, of Atlanta, Georgia, is hereby relieved of liability to repay to the United States the sum of $551.34, representing amounts advanced to her by the Department of State in 1944, to pay the cost of passage for herself and her son to the United States from Australia. In the audit and settlement of the accounts of any accounting or disbursing officer, full credit shall be given for the amount for which the said Loretta F. Ossorio is relieved of liability by this Act. Approved September 21, 1959.

September 21, 1959

To authorize Major General Bernard W. Kearney, United States Army (retired), a former Member of Congress, to accept and wear the Philippine Legion of Honor in the degree of commander, conferred upon him by the Government of the Philippines.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Major General Bernard W. Kearney, United States Army (retired), who retired as a Member of Congress on January 2, 1969, is authorized to accept and wear the Philippine Legion of Honor in the degree of commander, conferred upon him by the Government of the Philippines, and the consent of the Congress is hereby expressly granted for such purpose, as required by clause 8 of section 9 of article I of the Constitution of the United States. The Secretary of State shall deliver such decoration, together with any supporting documents, to the said Bernard W. Kearney. Approved September 21, 1959.
