of America A Proclamation

WHEREAS the act of June 21, 1930, 46 Stat. 791 (16 U.S.C. 192b), authorizes the President, upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Interior, with respect to lands not in a national forest, to add to the Rocky Mountain National Park, in the State of Colorado, by Executive proclamation, pertain lands described in that act; and WHEREAS the Secretary of the Interior has recommended the addition to such park of certain of the lands described in that act not in a national forest; and WHEREAS it appears that it would be in the public interest to add such lands to the park for future preservation and administration as a part of the park: NOW, THEREPORE, I, DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER, President of the United States of America, xmder and by virtue of the authority vested in me by the said act of June 21, 1930, do proclaim that the lands hereinafter described shall be, and they are hereby, added to and reserved as a part of the Rocky Mountain National Park, in the State of Colorado; and such lands shall be subject to the provisions of the act entitled "An Act to establish a National Park Service, and for other purposes," approved August 25, 1916| 39 Stat. 535 (16 U.S.C. 1-3), and all acts supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof, and all other laws and rules and regulations applicable to such park: SIXTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN
