For the relief of Joao tie Freitas Ferreira de Vasooucelos.

Be It enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That, for the pur- joao de Freitas poses of sections 101(a) (27)(A) and 205 of the Immigration and F^-^de vasconceNationality Act, the minor ehikl, Joao de Freitas Ferreira de Vascon- °8 USC 1101, celos, shall be hehl and considered to be the natural-born alien child of 1155. Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Vasconcelos, citizens of the United States: Provided, That the natural mother of the said Joao de Freitas Ferreira de Vasconcelos shall not, by virtue of such parentage, be accorded any right, privilege, or status under the Immigration and Nationality Act. For the relief of Gennaro Prudente.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, notwithstanding the provisions of section 212(a)(4) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Gennaro Prudente may be admitted to the United States for permanent residence if he is found to be otherwise admissible under the provisions of that Act: Provided, That a suitable and proper bond or undertaking, approved by the Attorney General, be deposited as prescribed by section 213 of the said Act: And provided further, That this exemption shall apply only to a ground for exclusion of which the Department of State or the Department of Justice has knowledge prior to the enactment of this Act.
