Public Law 88-530 AN ACT To amend section 25 of title 13, United States Code, relating to the duties of enumerators of the Bureau of the Census, Department of Commerce.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That subsection (c) of section 25 of title 13, United States Code (relating to certain duties of enumerators of the Bureau of the Census, Department of Commerce), is hereby repealed. Approved August 31, 1964.

Public Law 88-531 AN ACT To bring certain United States commissioners within the purview of the Federal Employees Health Benefits Act of 1&59 and the Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance Act of 1954.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 2(a) of the Federal Employees Health Benefits Act of 1959, as amended (5 U.S.C. 3001(a)), is amended by inserting immediately following the word "includes" the following: "any United States commissioner to whom the Civil Service Retirement Act applies by operation of section 2(g) of that Act,". SEC. 2. Section 2(a) of the Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance Act of 1954, as amended (5 U.S.C. 2091 (a)), is amended by inserting immediately following "District of Columbia" the following: ", and each United States commissioner to whom the Civil Service Retirement Act applies by operation of section 2(g) of that Act,". Public Law 88-532 AN ACT To amend section 131 of title 13, United States Code, so as to provide for taking of the economic censuses one year earlier starting in 1968.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 131 of ^ Economic centitle 13, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: 71 Stat. 482. "§ 131. Collection and publication; five-year periods "The Secretary shall take, compile, and publish censuses of manufactures, of mineral industries, and of other businesses, including the distributive trades, servic6 establishments, and transportation (exclusive of means of transportation for which statistics are required by law to be filed with, and are compiled and published by, a designated regulatory body), in the year 1964, then in the year 1968, and every fifth year thereafter^ and each such census shall relate to the year immediately preceding the taking thereof."
