TITLE r r - S A L A R Y INCREASES FOR DISTRKTl^ OF COLUMBIA TEACHERS SEC. 201. This title may be cited as the "District of Cohimbia T'eadiors' Salary Act Amendments of 1%6". SEC. 202. The District of Columbia Teachers' Salary Act of 1955 is amended as follows: (1) Section 1 (D.C. Code, sec. 31-1501) is amended to read as follows: "SECTION 1. The following are the salary schedules for teachers, school officers, and certain other employees of the Board of Education whose positions are included therein: Step

"Salary class and group 1 Class 1 —Superintendent. Class 2 Deputy superintendent. Class3 Assistant superintendent. President, teachers college. (lass 4 Director, curriculum. Dean, teachers college. Executive assistant to superintendent. Class 5: Oroup A, bachelor's degree Group B, master's degree. < Jroup C, master's degree plus 30 credit hours Group D, doctor's degree. Chief examiner. Director, food services. Director, industrial adult education. Executive assistant to deputy superintendent. Class 6: Group B, master's degree Principal level IV Principal level III Principal level II Principal level I Group C, master's degree plus 30 credit hours Principal level IV Principal level H I Principal level II Principal level I (Jroup D, doctor's degree.. Principal level IV Principal level III Principal level II Principal level I Assistant to assistant superintendent (elementary schools). Assistant to assistant superintendent (junior and senior high schools). Assistant to assistant superintendent (general research, budget, and legislation). .\ssistant to assistant superintendent (pupil personnel services). Assistant to assistant superintendent (industrial and adult education, vocational education, evening and summer school).
