accounts of any certifying or disbursing officer of the United States, credit shall be ^iveii for amounts for which liability is relieved by this Act. SEC. 2, The Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Robert A. Ivins an amount equal to the aggregate of the amounts paid by him, or withheld from sums otherwise due him, in complete or partial satisfaction of the liability to the United States specified in the first section. SEC. 3. No part of the amomit appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000, Approved November 2, 1966.

Olson, United States Army, retired (RA55676271), is relieved of liability to pay to the Uiiited States the sum of $170, representing the balance due on the total amount which, by reason of administrative error, the Department of the Army failed to deduct from his pay for the months of December 1964, and January 1965, in support of allotments from his pay. In the audit and settlement of the accounts of any certifying or disbureing otficer of the United States, credit shall be given for the amount for which liability is relieved by this section. SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Treasury shall pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Specialist Five Ronald J. Olson, United States Army, retired, an amount equal to the sinn certified to the Secretary of the Treasury by the Secretary of the Army as the aggregate of amounts paid to the United States by Ronald J. Olson, or withheld by the United States from amounts otherwise due Jiim, on account of the liability referred to in the first section of this Act. No part of the amount appropriated in this section shall be paid or delivered to or I'eceived by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
